If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and pick up Don's book 'Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles', it's excellent. In the book Don reveals the man behind the public persona and musician and how perseverance, patience, and hard work gave him the strength to make it through some tough times. Don could have ripped some of his bandmates a new one but chose to take the high road in this exploration of his private life and a trip down memory lane that includes the unfair treatment he was subjected to in the Eagles. I'm so glad I read this book as it fills in gaps about what led to the break up of one of the greatest bands ever. Bravo Don, you deserve all the best in the many years to come. Hoping to see you on tour this year- come to Canada and rock the house!!

Mr. Felder, if it means anything from a nobody like me, you are in great company as far as my top 5 guitarists’ list is concerned! I won’t name the order, but accompanying you are Jimmie Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert king, and Terry Kath. BB King is not on the list, because I feel he is The Godfather of electric blues! I’m a blues and rock fan! There are so many honorable mentions, but that would create a list way too long to bother you with. It is my personal opinion, but thank you for your contribution! You are a major part of The Eagles, whether they want to believe it or not! Maybe someday they will wake up, and realize what they had! Peace and love to you, your family and friends, and of course, to Bernie and Randy! They are true Eagles, like yourself!!!!

The parts you wrote and played in songs like 'Lyin Eyes", "New Kid in Town", "One of These Nights", "I Can't Tell You Why", etc. are so melodic. Even more notable is the touch/expression you have in your bends and tremolo. I really strive for that in my own playing. Thanks for posting this!
