Woody the pit bull has faced a lot of adversity in his eight months of life. When he was just a few weeks old, Woody was attacked by another dog. This is where his problems began.

His owners didn’t take him to a veterinarian and so he ended up with permanent facial deformities. However, there was some slightly good news, his deformities don’t cause him any physical pain.

I wish i lived close but i dont i have three rescues and i adopted two from my shelter shelter dogs are the greatest they give you undying love and kisses forever and so do rescues please adopt from your shelter they are a lifetime family and will never desert you

We were visiting our friend when our kids were younger and Sarah and Paul still lived in Long Island, NY. We were ready to get a puppy and then they said lets go to the North Shore Animal League in Long Island, NY. We got a lab/collie mix that I named Courage the Cowardly Dong after the cartoon. He was 16 when we had to put him down because we got hit by Hurricane Sandy that whipped out alot of the East Coast and Keansburg, NJ were we live was the worst hit and we had to get our house raised and he couldn't make it up the stairs any more. He was the best dog ever.
