I had a roommate like George Santos once. She was a pathological liar. After 3 months I tried to get her family to stage an intervention (bc she was spending money she didn’t have, staying out late and leaving her kid home with me, and bringing home a new guy every night) but unfortunately they kept believing the lies. So I moved out and broke the lease. I wasn’t going to live with someone I couldn’t trust. And the sad part is, this ended a 20+ year friendship. It’s true, you never really know someone till you live with them!!
