We were invited by to a cozy nightclub-type show by George, a British gentleman we met on our first night in Symi Island. The performance was on the sidewalk in front of the bar sponsoring the event. Most of the guests had been casually aquatinted for years, part of an informal circle of friends. Many of these folks meet on Symi annually each September-October, and a couple live on Symi. The occasion was like being invited to a family gathering. We met members of the group a few times here and there.
