Vocal Solo with Jazz Ensemble - Grade 3
Recorded by Mark Ronson and featuring Bruno Mars, this sassy funk tune is on its way to becoming a modern day standard. Here's a hot version for vocal solo that captures all the excitement of the original.

I think the vocals are ruining the arrangement a bit :/

Yeah I like this version a lot better but to me I feel like there shouldn't be a vocalist singing it.

I like the Sweeney arrangement a little better, but at the same time the original key is better than Sweeney's. Of course I realise the Sweeney version is aimed at Grade 2 players. Shame this new Murtha arrangement didn't put the bass an octave lower where it belongs. If you haven't got a 5 string, it's the perfect excuse to go shopping!

I think that the other Paul Martha arrangement is better.

im so confused on why trombone 3 is like, sometimes higher than trombone 1 and 2

Why not have one of the trumpet's or sax's do the main melody, instead of a singer?

I thought there already was an arrangement by Paul murtha. I guess I was wrong. Like many others i don't like the vocals here.

This sounds weird, but is there any song with a bass feature

I run a vocalist with my jazz band, but I'm having a hard time hearing past her.

Eh. not a fan of this arrangement, I prefer the grade 4 arrangement by Pual, this one sounds find but somethings just dont feel quiet right to me.

No offense to Hal Leonard but stop getting this person to sing
