I just watched this movie today on a Samsung TV channel. I knew it was a 80s/90s movie but the video quality was amazing (like BR) and this clip looks very 80's

Can't believe i have not seen these two movies yet at all and the two that I'm talking about are St. Elmo's fire and with honors that came out in 1994, I believe it did.
Watch both trailers for these movies and they both look very interesting and good.
Got to get them on dvd at Barnes & Noble

I think NBC aired this around 1986-1988. I remember the preview. But somehow, I got got him mixed up with Michael J. Fox and.for years thought this was that summer camp TV movie Poison Ivy.

0:20- Yes, but is he a brain surgeon, like Buckaroo Banzai? I think not.
0:32- Where he then joined the wackiest Soviet spies on campus.
1:35- He's given up meeting the girls. They all just want Julian Sands instead.
