It makes you wonder with places like this, The Great Salt Lake and many other Salt extraction places sending out salt that then can make it the Ocean if salinity is increasing in the Ocean. They found out the Great Lakes are getting saltier, mainly from road salt used in the winter. A side effect is the Lakes increasing fertility when it comes to animal water life
