Today I build a live-edge coffee table out of an English Walnut slab I milled years ago. I fabricate steel legs and finish it off with Rubio Monocoat for the first time. Enjoy!

You’re what makes America great homie. I’m a disabled veteran and can’t get my head together and only have moments of happiness. Your video brought joy to me. God bless brotha

Retirement? Nah, you’re still working but the difference is you’re working on what you want and love to do and when you want to do it. A great feeling and it’s cool to see the creativity unfold. Awesome table Jason!

My Dad was a Carpenter, pretty much worked with wood all his life. He could see things in a piece of scrap timber no one else would. That is a fantastic table, cant wait to see what the Butterfly or I think you call them Match Book pieces turn out like. You should be proud to be able to create beauty from what lots of folks would throw away as scrap or put on the burning pile. I wish you all the best in carrying on making fantastic things. Trees play a vital part in our environment, however when they have to be harvested, for whatever reason it is great that folks like you and my Dad can make them live a different life for many Years to come.

Like that 'old log' you milled, there is a wonderfully beautiful table, something like that guy Jason who worked as an equipment operator oh those many years, .. who knew there was a
'Craftsman' hiding inside this guy!
Well done Northwest Sawyer, well done!

Beautiful, in its simplicity, with your issue cutting the steel, the chop saw blade is your issue, look at the new generation TCT STEEL CUTTING BLADES, they will stop the burring on the steel and leave a clean cut.
Love your work, and that you have now started your own business. Dont forget to use a respirator with the black walnut.

I hope that you are proud of yourself; you absolutely deserve to be. That is a work of art that I would love to own.
I do not know what you told her that you would charge but I don't think it was enough.
I hope that now that you are full time self-employed you will be able to create more pieces like this.
