Gotta give Richard this: I NEVER thought he'd be able to spin Tyler Reddick leaving the way he has. Not only did he get Reddick to leave early, he also got Toyota to pay for it.

I’m in tears I’m a grown man that’s completely broke down. Kurt has always been one of my favorites:/ made every team he went to better! Hope this isn’t the end for Kurt!!!

I went to the Vegas fall race last year with the hope of meeting Kurt since there were rumors back then of him retiring from the #1. We ended up getting to meet him and get an autograph. With this new news I feel lucky that the opportunity worked out last fall to see him. Sad to lose him as a driver.

If this is Kurt Busch’s retirement that’s heartbreaking. However he’s one of the best commentators in the sport, and I’d love to see him in a full time role at FOX in the booth.

Been a fan of both Busch brothers since I became a fan in the late 2000's. Seeing Kurt have to step away earlier than he would have wanted to really hurts but I hope he's healthy and can lead a happy life after racing.

As much as I would love to see him race one more time this weekend, I know it wouldn't be right for him in the long run.

I'm a huge Kurt Busch fan, especially since his comeback, after Penske. Hoping he's ok for the long haul and finds a way to stay a significant part of the sport.

Wen i hear Kurt Bush, i think of how his championship almost didnt happen, met him a few times, last being in 2016 in the world series at Wrigley Field, awesome driver and such a awesome driver to meet

I had issues with your assessment of Kurt years ago Eric. Thought you were a hater. Can’t tell you how much appreciation I’ve gained for you and your assessments of nascar. I’ve been a Kurt fan since 12. I’m 31 now. It’s been a ride. Definitely felt it when you said a sick feeling was in your stomach. I’m just happy we are getting some news about him.

I know Kurt will probably go into management at 23XI, but I would also love to see him continue to do truck race commentary with FOX. I always enjoy the races when he’s in the booth for FOX; he’s very articulate and easy to follow at home.
