Let’s all remember when Trump stated he would be glad to “take the mantle” of a government shutdown. The senate passed a spending bill with border security funding, but the party of “fiscal responsibility” passed a bill in the House that wasn’t going to get the votes in the Senate. So no, this is not a Democrat problem.
