This week’s #scripturesong is one of my absolute favorites! Philippians 2:13 NLT: “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”
Just because you’re a born again Christian doesn’t mean you don’t still struggle with sinful desires. And if I’m being honest, that’s been really hard for me to accept. If you lean more towards being a perfectionist, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. Welcome to the club. 👍🏻
I get SO frustrated when I mess up.
The truth is, you and I will never be perfect here on earth. But this verse gives us so much hope!
Even though we may struggle to crucify the flesh (Galatians 5:24), the Spirit of God living within us gives us the desire to want to serve Him and the strength to do what He asks of us. ❤️
