I'm not a hardcore shipper but this entire scene SCREAMS buddie canon especially Eddie's reactions towards Buck mentioning going out with Natalia, how she "sees him", and Eddie telling Buck he doesn't need to be anybody for anyone. If you disagree that's completely fine but this is getting a bit obvious, if it doesn't happen I'd be shocked and confused honestly..

It’s bad writing (for me anyways) that they have Buck talking about Natalia being the only person who sees him for him and whatnot, then continues to say that she knows him while all of us viewers/fans know that Eddie is the one who sees him for him and knows him really well. Heck, it’s not just Eddie. It’s also Chris, who is a kid, that knows Buck so well even when Buck doesn’t say anything.

So in Buck's lightning coma, did the part when Eddie couldn't be with Christopher because he wasn't suitable to be a firefighter and parent without meeting Carla from Buck mean anything to Buck?!?! Buck might as well leave Eddie to this nosey Natalie looking for death than people because Eddie's demise in that lightning coma hasn't emotionallly struck the part of Buck's heart that would swim through tsunamis, dig the ground, or try to save from a gunshot for Christopher and Eddie's state of relationship wellness.

It's plot writing to further SL along. They both have to come full circle before anything even remotely close to feelings can surface.

Yall THIS is bad writing. We're TOLD by Buck that the lady "sees him", but we didn't see HOW. From what we saw, she seems more interested in his death than him as a person. We get that if she's meant to stay, we'll get more from her, but seriously if that's the case, find some way to make at least a portion of the viewers like her. Her job is interesting but she isn't, yet. And it's not that hard to make us like her, since we already like Buck, show us someone we can trust Buck with, someone like Taylor maybe. Some people didn't like Taylor, but she grew on me because she's genuine and she cares about Buck a great deal. It's so simple.

Urgh. Even if the show never does buddie canon - I'd rather accept any other romance for Buck than this one. I hope they're not seriously trying to build a romance with Natalia.

Really, they've met like twice, she's oddly into death, and now Buck is raving that "she sees him". Really? Talk about 'this escalated quickly'? She's a stranger, they've barely met!!

I stopped watching after season 3 and i won't be watching until i get a confirmed relationship (and NOT a la Supernatural style thank you very much, miss me with that shit) because i refuse to be queerbaited yet again by a show like this.

And if it doesn't happen i'm fine with just fanfics and fanarts
