Landlords should be able to pay a fee to expedite. They can use the money to get more staff and settle these cases.

Tips for eviction in Vegas. Step 1: The moment you get a notice, go to the court house and file a petition/motion.

Step 2: Try and pay your rent before the 21st of that month. If you cannot, get money orders and save it/them. Try not to get too behind. Apply for CHAP ASAP and make sure your personal information is accurate.

Step 3: If you get a court date, bring the money orders to the judge and state your case.

Eviction diversion, only screws landlords even more. Across the country there praising it, showing these wonderful numbers that is keeping people in their homes. But all there really doing is screwing the landlord and delaying the inevitable. These losses, cause higher rents, more stringent lease qualifications. Its really to bad for the tenants that pay their rent on time, that will ultimately pay higher rents because of the dead beats.

What about the Landlord's that refuse the rental assistance?! Yes they do pay but some Landlord’s think of they don't accept and evict anyway they can raise the rent.!

I don't feel sorry for landlords who charging sky prices and find they have rented to someone is struggling! The wages paid here don't support the rent prices, I think the back up in the courts provides that!
