How To Setup VoiceMeeter Banana The Right Way (2024) // How To Setup Voicemeeter windows 10 and 11

Voice Meeter Banana Is an amazing software that lets you output your computer's sounds to more than one device at a time 3 different ones to be exact. It also lets you bring in 3 different audio devices from microphones to capture cards as well. giving you more and complete control over what your different software hear including OBS Studio.
You can even monitor your own voice when testing out the different ways their filter can make your voice sound.
I wish I would have started using voice Meeter way sooner than I did because it would have had me sounding wonderful for longer.

New supporter to the channel, I had Voicemeeter working after installing windows 11. But some major update in 11 kicked all of my Voicemeeter settings. This vid helped me get those settings back thanks again.

And here I was, manually unplugging my monitors so I could route the outs/ins from the back of my soundcard to the front so I could record things from the web. For years.

I thought I was clever, having "figured it out myself".

This is an awesome tutorial, covers not just how to get a basic setup but why you are doing those things. I just mirrored step for step the last tutorial I watched but you actually explained why I want to take those steps and what they are actually doing.

One thing I haven't been able to figure out is setting up mic monitoring. The delay doesn't bother me, but I want feedback from my mic but turned down for me and not the virtual output. Essentially I want the mic volume to be normal in the party chat, but very quiet in my headset. I do not know how to do that.
