Always looking for that perfect work/life balance, I like to maximize my working time as much as I can. I find being as productive as possible during my working blocks allows me to have more time to relax and enjoy life. These are some of the little tweaks I use in my life to make me more productive so I can get more done.

When I meal plan, I make a list of meals for two weeks. I put stars next to meals that have ingredients that wont last long such as produce. We make sure to eat those meals first. We choose a meal at the beginning of the day that works best for our schedule.

I love to brain dump every morning - I find it so effective to being more productive. I have a couple of questions - on IG - who do you follow to inspire you for simple, healthy meals? What day planner do you use consistently (I've tried so many, I always go back to a simple notebook) and I see you have a little station where you do your planning - can you tell me what's in your "command centre" area? Great work - love your videos, energy and authenticity.

So here me out. I was feeling particularly uninspired and unmotivated today. It's 11:03 am. I clicked on your video and 5 minutes into it, BAM! I realized I was cleaning and decluttering my Kitchen rack. I was having trouble with that for months. I didn't think I would ever get to it. Thank you. It's like something clicked in my brain. Meal planning is such a game changer! What I like to do is make the plan and shop the groceries but I don't assign a particular meal to any particular day. That way the day off I can make any meal from my list for my family and I to enjoy that day since I already have the ingredients so win- win! Another thing is that if new to meal planning then start off by writing what you are currently eating each night and then in 30 days you have a full month of meals to choose from! If you struggle with meal planning here are a few things that have helped me. Plan a pizza / cheat night but only 1! It gives you that bit of flex but only having one means I often save my cheat night as long as possible. Second is I pick what I'm having the next day the night before and pull out anything from the freezer. Often I don't know what is going to happen Thursday in Sunday but I do know by Wednesday. This helps me pick easier meals if I'm busy. Awesome video! Love it

Another great idea for meal planning is to just pick out the meals but dont assign them a day! So you have the stuff on hand and ready to go, but you can pick what sounds good that day. The compromise is eventually you get to the last day where you have to eat whatever that last meal is haha.

Same! I make my to do list for the house on Sunday night and adjust as the week goes on. I allow myself to swap things ... maybe the floors stayed cleaner longer so they can go another day and I can clean the appliances instead from the next days list or organize a few cabinets. I always have a few extra chores on my " bonus " list for the week so I pull from there. Those are things that i have been meaning to get to but are not part of the weekly lineup. Right now that looks like, cleaning out a hutch i want to get rid of, my spice and tea drawers, and tidying the pet cabinet. On the rare occasion that I don't plan, I seriously fail at winging it that week and then I get down on myself because I know it was my fault...and I know myself better than that. I also do my meals for the week with a mix of staple recipes easy for the most part and 1 or 2 new but again, will switch them around a bit if it fits better. Maybe hubs went out for lunch at work so the lighter dinner would fit best. I try to pick my recipes based on the similarity ingredients. Bell peppers are being used in a few so I can get all those prepped for the week with the first recipe. I can also chop all my ingredients for salad at once and then just make a few swaps to make it a little different some days. Life is so much easier with a little foresight and a bit of tough love on ourselves.I am loving all your content! Your just so relatable.🙂👍

I have been a Uber fan for about, years, I have been going through all my YouTube channels and slowly weeding them out. I have found with your channel it hits briefly on all topics that both mothers and fathers can regard too!! My husband is home from work, due to a injury. I sent him a few of your older and more recent videos as a hint to what it takes to make this, my household go round!! Pleasantly, I caught him watching your videos and later on nonchalantly telling me he thought the videos that I sent would be beneficial! I seriously struggle with their never being enough hours in the day to the point where I will stay up until 2 in the morning trying to get stuff done and then getting up at 7 in the morning to start my new day and I am just so excited to try these tips and tricks and even the meal planning subscription. Same. As an educator, I’m home for the summer. I often will begin prep for lunch or dinner while I’m putting dishes away in the morning. My energy is best from 6 am to 12. I get a ton done during that time.

Oh man, I finished the semester and we recently moved (so had a huge cortisol push within a few weeks) and I fell off my sleep schedule. I've definitely found myself waiting around waiting for motivation, which I don't typically do when I'm utilizing a sleep wake cycle and meal prepping consistently! Getting back on it :D

I do most of this too (in part because of encouragement I've gotten from your other videos! ) - and I can confirm, these things make a huge difference. I have always been a snooze button abuser, until I gave myself a bedtime. Now I wake up ready to go before my alarm and I'm always on time to work. Feels so good. Great tips and tricks! I have plans for my clothing for the coming week, as well as meal plans and daily plans when I get to work (also have a set bedtime/wakeup time). My weakness is doing monthly plans, half yearly plans, etc for work. This means I am slotting in the everyday stuff but valuable research time etc tends to slip away.. something to work on.

In one of your videos you said about decutting your socks, I use old and old socks for dusting you wear the sock like a glove and when side is dirty turn the sock round on your had and you have a clean side, I wash my duster socks with the other cleaning cloths they don't get mixed up with the wearing socks.

When I wake up feeling a bit lazy and befuddled I think to myself, “I need to get motivated”. So I watch a couple of your videos and get that ZAP of energy and direction I need to rise and shine. No BS 🤣🤣

I am the biggest meal planner! I always have my go to meals and then try 1-2 new meals a week (depending how busy the week is). I also love cooking a lot of something (such as shredded chicken) on Sundays and using it for a variety of meals throughout the week!

I really absolutely love the bedtime and the circadian rhythm concept as well as your go to bed with your kitchen clean concept.
My goal is to get these in tact by the end of the year, right now I’m kind of all over the place.
And as a mom of three little ones ages 5, 2 about to be 3, and a 1-year-old oh and my 18 yr old 😂
so much I have to do is in my head around the house but I can never seem to get it down on paper even meal plan. and get everything organized the way I want I’m hoping with a little bit of Toughlove to myself I can get this accomplished!!!
I love the idea of meal planning but to be quite honest I don’t even know where to start. 😔
