This lesson teaches you how to use the subjunctive voice (Konjunktiv II) to achieve a 'conditional' tense in German, which will allow you to say what you WOULD HAVE or WOULD BE, given the chance! It allows you to describe hopes and dreams and 'what if...?' scenarios with ease!

In under 5 minutes, you will learn how to use one of the most complex bits of grammar that can make a Grade 9 at GCSE or A* at A Level achievable!

Being able to talk about hypothetical situations (dreams, hopes, and ambitions) allows your German to progress to CEFR Level B1!

All donations are gratefully received and allow me to continue to improve the quality and quantity of my videos!
Vielen Dank im Voraus! 🙏🏼

Combine this lesson with the ‘German Grammar Made Simple’ playlist (link below) to push your German to the next level! Perfect for preparing for GCSE or A Level German, or just for targeting fluency!

Don't suppose you've got any passive voice videos in the pipeline? :-)

does sein in konjuktiv II wie wäre es can be translated as "how about" or "how if that were to be" considering that also a conditional, " Max willst du eine Pizza? ich möchte eine Pizza bestellen". "nee, Wie wäre es mit Spaghetti?"
