E-resident in Ukraine: how it works?

Ukraine has a special tax regime for foreign IT professionals who do not live (and have not lived before) in Ukraine, but want to work online and pay tax in Ukraine. This is the e-resident mode.

All procedures of registration, doing business, paying taxes are carried out online. The maximum amount of income is 7.8 million hryvnia, the tax rate is 5% of income. The Ukrainian bank that serves such an e-resident independently withholds the tax, pays it to the budget, and also prepares reports. Funds received on the Ukrainian account can be transferred to an account in another country.
