Calculate Linux - The Star under the rolling releases - try it you won't regret it and you stay

After my Rant about Funtoo incapable of installing a basic tool like a printer, I was forced to make a comparison to my "Baby", Calculate Linux.

Watch and see when i discovered a need and sorted it out on Calculate Linux.

If you did not know about use flags and how to set them, the hplip package in Calculate will not show up in the menus and a user may not know how to fix the situation. It is not simple, but having done it and learned the proper ways to get hplip up and running on Calculate, it seems easy now.

Even on windows there are problems with printers.
Printers still sucks in 2021.

Buy a printer.
Use the printer.
Enjoy this brief period when the printer actually works as intended.
Forget about the printer for weeks until I need it again.
Run an urgent print job I need immediately.
The printer does not work.
Waste a day trying to get the printer working.
Go to a print shop.
Get rid of the printer.
Rinse and repeat.

The experience you have with Calculate Linux, I have with Peppermint 8. I'm a simple user who does some emailing, internet and watch a lot of Linux video's and the Pep does that quickly, stable and it looks good too. So what does a simple user like me need more?
