The 2022 Atholl Highlanders Parade led by Pipe Band outside Blair Castle in Perthshire, Scotland

The start of the 2022 Atholl Highlanders Parade at Blair Castle and Estate in Perthshire Scotland. The Atholl HIghlanders are led by the Atholl Pipe Band, playing "Dovecote Park" and "The Glendaruel Highlanders" on the march. The Highlanders are under the command of Regimental Sergeant Major, Graham Jack.

This year's parade marks a special occasion, with the retirement of long serving Pipe Major Ian Duncan and Drum Major Alister Walker, both seen at the front of the band. With a combined service of over 102 years, Ian Duncan and Alister Walker, leading figures in the world of pipe bands, have both made a huge contribution to the Atholl Highlanders. Their roles will be taken by brothers Gary and Niall West, both born and brought up locally in Pitlochry, and whose own distinguished musical pedigree will build on their predecessors’ legacy.

We are lucky survivors of the Covid global apocalypse friends, we do our best to survive the Putin's madness...l think anyone can survive a Scottish celebration as well...those who have doubts. .are invited to pay you a visit and check it out, if they survive or not.. this time l would suggest the environmental kind of tourism, anyone is welcomed to donate a tree, much better ten trees to be planted, if guests become angels of salvation...they might love you ten times more, let it Scotland turn back green, we need to give our planet more oxygen factories and neutralize pollution, think about it fans Ok? Saving seeds each time you are doing the groceries, wish you try to build up vertical gardens, pumpkin or cucumber flowers are same delightful, giving lessons of highlanders world wide, how l wish l could give everybody my own feelings fans, that death is nothing but a longer sleep, we never die, but what kind of hell future is waiting for us? We turn back to the Neanderthal cavern ages, yeah, that's trully genius indeed
