World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury says the issue of “sportswashing” only seems to be a “big scene” when it’s not the right person doing it.

It comes as the Saudi Arabian-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series offers top stars millions of dollars to join and abandon the PGA Tour.

“If it’s the government who’s doing oil and gas deals it’s fine, if it’s a sports star making a fortune it’s bad,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“I don’t know where it all ends and all starts.”

I wonder how Women's Football thinks about this.

_Oh wait, no one watches women's football._

As a Saudi I have more rights and privileges than most people in the west or the world as a whole. Just know that you never been in Saudi Arabia and everything you know about it is through the media, let that sink in.

Am I missing something here? Who is carrying on about Fury fighting in the Middle East? This nonsense never ends😂 I'm not up on this one, the left again I presume? Don't the left love Muslims. I don't get it.

I’m a fan of Tyson but saying you need to have actually met a regime to judge them is pretty daft. I don’t expect Tyson has met many leaders of ISIS or the Taliban, does this mean he has no opinion of these groups? Come on Tyson, be serious.

If I was a sports star and was offered millions to do my sport in the Middle East I'd do it.
I wouldn't care less about their politics.
However I'd rather do my sport in the UK, where there's no chance of being sent to prison, or sentenced to death, for doing something which is legal in the rest of the civilised free world.
