Honda 1.6 i-DTEC engine 1.000.000km warranty

Have a Civic having 1.6 i-DTEC engine with ZF 9hp transmission. Both are marvelous.

i have a 2017 1.6dtec 160
i really like it plenty of room big boot for my dogs and some nice bits and bobs
seems quite nippy for a 1.6 i dont drive like alooney either if this is half as reliable as my honda blackbird motorcyle ill be plenty happy

How about the oil dilution problem? This is a serious engine design flaw where the high fuel pressure causes the fuel to enter the oil causing excessive engine wear, Honda has really messed up, they're supposed to be the most expensive Japanese cars because they don't break.

8yr old 70k mile engine fully serviced by Honda UK needing £8000 rebuild as its bust. Terrible.

No way .. Got mine with top branded engine oils with 8 thousand km changing interval and now with 260 k on the clock timing kit change is required as start making rattlling noise.. Good engine but not as good as advert shows..

Is it better than 1.6 CRDI? I have that with 380tkm without major problems. How reliable Honda Civid 1.6 diesel is?

Lies! My car just blew its turbo at 107, 000kms !!!! Honda want 3000euros (about 2500 for the turbo and the rest for labour) to change it. My car is from Feb 2013 and they say it's not covered by this warranty. The ( Garrett) turbo is available from independent sellers for 900euros+labour. The car was driven carefully and we always used 100% synthetic C2 oil. Very fragile car with extremely expensive engine parts (main EGR is 800+VAT, Intake flap valve is 2950 plus VAT!!!! etc.

😂😂😂 worst ever engine, egr valve always goes wrong and dpf filter, the timing chain start rattling after 140k on my ass 😂😂😂. I had this engine on my CRV and all the time i was with the car in garage. Shit engine, I was supposed to delete egr and dpf to use it for a while until I sold it only to get rid of it. If you want a good car from Japan buy petrol, they are good. Never diesel from Japan 😊.

Hallo ich habe auch eine Honda Diesel gefahren Bj 2017 1.6 i DTEC hat öl gebraucht 10000 .km 2.0 Liter Öl ich habe ihn verkauft und die Lenkung ist Schwammig gewesen Autoradio Tac Funktion wollte nicht Hochfahren Honda Askar Null Nichts Ahnung Wollte von mir für Eine neue fasst 4 Tausend Euro haben ich habe bei Firma ACR Reparieren Lassen nie wieder Honda
