I can't fathom being pissy with his pronunciation being off. He's got an English accent and the desire to not only learn, but to teach about this fascinating culture's history is admirable.

Most westerners don't have the ability to pronounce everything perfectly in a language so profoundly different. We just don't have some of the sounds prevalent in english.

Seems to me that taking issue with such trivialities is more about making sure everyone is aware you know more. This nonsense today where some think mispronouncing something is disrespectful is a joke.
I can't imagine someone getting prickly about english mispronunciation, but maybe some do. Maybe just an indicator of the toxicities that exist among all people in certain individuals.

I'm just appreciative that he used his time to put up a video in an effort to teach people. Thank you for making concise videos for us who just want to learn about the culture and history. Great narration and choice of photos/art.
