There’s a lot that goes into farming. I enjoy seeing the stuff people don’t think of. You guys and the Millennial Farmer do a good job of showing all the other stuff. Anything from prepping/getting seed, to equipment repairs/upgrades, weather conditions, and so on. You guys get more hands on with the equipment in both repairs and restoration which is more in line with how I grew up. It helps fill a void I’ve had for years seeing you guys work. Glad to see you were able to buy the planter and try out the new seed trailer. Some of the newer stuff is such a time saver and there comes a point to where you have no choice but retire a piece of equipment. Hope you can work out a deal to keep that trailer and have some good years so you can add storage on the farm to keep some of this newer equipment nice.

On your Bud with the freon leak just get yourself a can of 134a with UV dye and run it until it leaks out again. Go over the system with a strong UV light and you will find your leak. If you see no sign whatsoever of dye it’s likely leaking in an enclosed area such as the evaporator housing. I’m an old mechanic and those “sniffers” have been known to lie to a person looking for a leak. 👍

Congrats on the tender trailer. We have been using one for three seasons now and we wonder how we did without it before. Was expensive but worth it. Makes logistics of seeding so much simpler.
