The roof slope is not code compliant for snow. The only permanent solution is to rebuild the roof to the (much steeper) building code

The pole should be on.the top i think you put it together wrong..the snow should slide on tje blue tarp with the pole above it

Please get a roof Avalanche that is properly built and has the pole mounted to the top side of the cutting frame.

Those with the pole on the bottom of the frame can be very dangerous. The chunk of snow/ice has a tendency to ride down the pole and smack the user in the face.

Be sure the one you get has pole on top. Stay safe.

I made my own, has steel roller wheels, and the handle mounted on too, works excellent, with very little effort, hardest part is dealing with all the snow on the ground afterwards, I use a Toro 2 stage blower to move it the second time. 👍👏
