Midjourney has always struggled with generating multiple subjects or multiple people, but the newly released Pan feature allows us to create images that have multiple distinct subjects in them much easier than before.

While there is still a ways to go before before matching the flexibility you get with ControlNet in Stable Diffusion models, the Pan feature is a good start to getting more creative flexibility in Midjourney.

Thanks for your insight. I have a question. Are you able to use consistant background setting in midjourney? Let's say most of the scenes are happening in the same spot. How can you generate such an image or a video for multiple characters in the same background?

I struggled so much creating images with more than one subject. This seems promising, I'll try it. The only issue would be creating images of two subjects interacting with each other, such as Batman and Spiderman hugging each other. Do you have any suggestions for something like that?

This isn't working for me at all. Followed the steps exactly and it only extends the background, it won't add another subject.
