Bridgeport Mill Refresh Completed

Today we complete the three-part process of refreshing a well-loved Bridgeport mill. We install way covers, test the oiling system, and finish getting this champ of a machine back in good working order.

The machine looks pretty good for its age. You did a very good job on the restoration and the new oiling system will prolong its life and make it very smooth running. The backlash on the axes is very low considering that you have lead screws and there is wear on the ways. Can't wait to see some parts made on it.

Backlash will not be an issue now that you have a DRO.
