I did cross country at 15. Joined at 18. I remember all of the muscle head gym guys who would brag how buff they were. They kicked ass in sit-ups and pull ups. They sucked with runs. I was skinny and came in first place the first 3 years in. I did fell bad when these big guys could not roll up their sleeves easily..

It’s policies like this that remind me how big of a disconnect there is between support units and Infantry Battalions.

Nobody cares about the ACFT as long as you get a 550 or above.
