Tips for the scroll saw: replace the bouncy insert with something rigid, increase the speed, and check out all the different blade choices there are. Scroll saws are cool because with the right blades, you can cut holes in things with no exit. Just take the blade off, run it through a pre-drilled hole, and re-attach the blade.

So I’m watching these videos out of order and seeing you zoom in on Chips eye while the music lyrics were saying “im goin home” brought me to tears. Mans best friend buddy, RIP Chip

Scroll saws have a learning curve. Learning blade speed and blade type for the type/grain wood you are using. I used a scroll to make my baits 20-30 years ago. Don't give up on the saw, but perhaps replace the cut ring with a metal one. Your baits rock

Your debate to cut down the bulbous tail from square to rounded gave me an idea to challenge your skills: Carve a bait that you could make a mold, carve and modify it to make another mold and then once more. Like 3 soft plastics from one chunk of wood.

I'd have been here sooner but I was watching mythbusters. Thanks for filming stuff for us, much appreciated.

Ryan Hall is my go-to live weather channel. Severe weather is fascinating as long as it stays away from home. If I hadn't started making baits I may have gotten into storm chasing. This bait has a forehead that looks quite carpy.

The shear content of this channel is literally my favorite thing to watch on any platform ever. . . It’s good stuff. On to the next bait!

I caught my first common carp a couple weeks ago on just a small curly tail worm and really light line and I couldn’t stop laughing about it for a while!😂 I love your videos so much! Thanks for re-inspiring me to go out fishing again and to try soft plastics! I wouldn’t have had that great experience without it!

FYI, walleye have no length limit on inland waters, 15 inch minimum only applies to mississippi river pools and a few specific lakes. I still would have thrown him back because it's a bit small (which may be why you mentioned it), but just thought it was worth pointing out.

Eventhough my baitmaking have been at a stop for a year because I need a new airbrush compressor and I've got a pike fly setup last year I will never not stop watching your videos 😊

I don't think you even realize it, best lure maker, and given us good stuff always

I have used a scroll saw to cut a couple hundred lures, but have had opportunity to used a band saw on only a couple. Hands down!, the band sand is the much quicker and easier tool to use. Scroll saws are great for thin material when you need to cut precise detail, but not so much with 3/4 and 1 inch stock. I feel your pain!
