It's true! I wear 100% wool trousers even in the summer, and surprisingly, they keep me cool. I find them just as comfortable as pure linen fabric but without the hassle of wrinkles.

Hi Brian - I have heard that with pleats, you have to have cuffs on the trousers as well. What's your take on this? I really like pleats in my formal trousers, but I don't really like the cuffs.

I have a light weight grey flannel suit for all season made from super lightweight grey flannel wool

I bought several pairs, different colors, of gabardine wool pants not too long ago. I find them to be an all-season option. They are very similar to the trousers for the dress and service uniforms I wore in the Marines.

I'm not sure about this.
I live in Europe where in summer You already sweating with no clothes on.
I can't imagine putting on suit at that heat. No matter linnen or tropical wool.
