Pennsylvania National Guard is the sponsor for Lithuania. I've worked with them multiple times and had some of their soldiers integrated into our scout platoon during our NTC rotation. They are great people, and well-trained soldiers and it was a pleasure working with them!

I was a spec ops combat medic and when i went through Ranger School in the states... we had an officer from Lithuania in our class. He was EASILY my favorite officer in our group. He had his shit together and he was very easy to work with. He inspired confidence with his organizational skills and easy to follow directions. He also had a naturally positive demeanor at all times. Really, really good dude.

Former US Army signalier here. I did a 3-month mission in Lithuania in 2017, on a Lithuanian army basic training base in the Suwalki Gap. Every male Lithuanian is required to complete their 9-month basic training, and then at the end for those who wish to remain in the military they go through a competitive process of interviews and essays. My squad was also attached to a Lithuanian brigade HQ in Hohenfels for Allied Spirit 2018. The benefit of their intensive training was clear as they gave the OPFOR (US Army Infantry) a run for their money and they frequently had to pause and reposition as the Lithuanians were pushing them back too fast for the observers to keep up. They were also incredibly friendly and shared their ham with us. I have nothing but respect and admiration for those guys.

As a Lithuanian-American i am honestly stunned you decided to write about my little country. Awesome video. I think our entire military/economic/diplomatic strategy is basically to be a thorn in Russia's ass and help all like-minded nations as best we can. Labai jums ačiu!

There's also a permanent NATO precense in Lithuania. Netherlands has been a permanent supporting member of the efp mission together with Germany and other supporting countries. Lithuania may not have tanks of their own, but there are very capable tanks in the country.

My sister in-law is Lithuanian. Managed to visit there a few years back, mainly the capital Vilnius. Beautiful country and great people. Maybe the most developed of the former Soviet countries. Also the food is excelent :D. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Much respect to the Lithuanian people, especially with the recent events and their support for Ukraine. I’m English but we have settled in Vilnius now, so for obvious reasons I really appreciate you making this video. Also, I echo the comments of Lithuanians here - Lithuania was never really a part of the Soviet Union - it was held under illegal, brutal soviet occupation from ww2 to 1991. That’s why we are all so interested in your videos - we have no wish to become occupied by Moscow again.
