World’s Tallest Man and Shortest Woman Have Fun at Meet Up

They both hold world records, but they’re not in competition with each other. Guinness recognizes Sultan Kosen of Turkey as the tallest man and Jyoti Amge of India as the shortest woman. He stands at 8 feet, 2 inches tall and she is 2 feet, 1 inch. One of his shoes is more than half of her height! They met up in California to compare stature.

I saw a later interview with Sultan Kosen, and he said he was quite worried about accidentally stepping on little Jyoti during this photoshoot, so he was moving very slowly and carefully to avoid any tragic missteps.
