I still run mine every once in awhile. Felling trees and cutting firewood with an old asf Xl 12 is a fun time.

The blue XL 12s are better than the latter model reds 😊 ❤ IMHO

I think that one was made 69 or 70.i started out with yhe super xl in 66 they were 119.00 new .we would use them until they wore out and then over haul them and get another 200 cords of ash wood .they were the best until the 360 came out.360 was the best they ever made, probably cut between 700 and 800 cords of ash and oak and still going.
