Hey just fyi, if you're having the issue of accidentally pressing the camera control button you can change it require a double press in settings

I don´t like cases without camera control button, for me it feels wrong in the hand with the cut. Every time i grab the phone and feel the cut :(.
I use the apple silicon case (the first time at all) without issue, changed the camera control button to double "click" -- no issues at all.
Currently for me, the apple silicon case is the "best" combination regarding weight, thickness, camera control button and protection and the pinkie finger is safe too :)

Excellent video! I don’t watch tech stuff often but the editing was really good and the points made were great.

If I may add I do wish reviewers and tech channels included stuff for tradesmen in mind. I just got the iPhone 16 pro after accidentally puncturing my camera on a job site. Been trying to find a reviews on more durable cases. I will say tho that I will be getting the second case with the finger loop for when I’m at home.

Almost $80 for the Pitaka case and it doesn't even have protection for the camera button... the price seems crazy to me. Of course, who wants to buy it, go ahead.

I have the BANDWERK brown Sport Leather case, and it looks great. However, after just one month of use, the brown color has started to wear off. So it appears that they don’t actually use brown leather for the case, they merely use some cheap color-bonding process for the “”leather””. The case being $60+ makes it a terrible recommendation in my opinion.

How did you find the silicone case in terms of ease taking in and out of pocket, picking up lint etc? This has been an issue with the Apple Silicone cases in the past but I've now seen a few reviews saying it's much better this year. Just about to upgrade from my 11 Pro to the 16 Pro and I've got used to the Apple leather case which they unfortunately no longer sell.

The cutouts for the camera button on more or less every third party leather case make them a no go.

The Apple Silicon case has a weight of 35g. And in my opinion, every gram counts when it comes to the 16 Pro Max. Apple did a lot to make the phone less heavy than the 14 Pro Max.

Nearly all other cases have a weight of 40g or much more and you can feel this in your hand!

BTW I see this always on YouTube. Does MagSafe charge faster when you shake it? 😊

I got a case with a cut out and my screen protector cracked right near where the cut out was even though it hadn’t been dropped in between the last time I saw the screen protector in tack and when I noticed the crack

i prefer to cover with a button on camera control i hate cut out cases on camera control looks ugly
