YouTube was rolling out an improved playlist setup (called "Series Playlists") where there is a link right by the video name to the series playlist. It isn't available for all creators yet, but you might want to talk to your YouTube contact and see if you can get it enabled for your channel. The only requirement is that each video can be in only 1 series playlist.

That pie chart is the perfect illustration of the rule about pie charts, once you go about about 3-4 segments they're useless.

Floating Dave head looks hilarious. I really like it, but I don't know why. Spooky.

Agnostic re duplicate content on a second channel. Recently recommended to an intern at work to spend a few hours watching your soldering tutorial series; agreed that the playlists are hard to find but they're still useful in situations like mine. Thanks Dave!

Re: playlists, I seem to recall with the mic design interviews that you did with Doug Ford (great series btw!), the playlist ensured that I got to watch the videos back to back and in order which was nice.

Speaking of repair, shoutout to curiousmarc's HP 9825 repair series. Comment below with other channels to watch :D

Keep up the debunking videos! I love them and they are a great public service.

The thing about multiple channels is that YouTube LOVES it that way. They're also great for compartmentalizing content.

I wonder if the increase in people with degrees watching isn’t because your viewer base is changing, but rather that your existing audience is graduating? Just a thought since the percentage of students went down.

Hey Dave! I understand how it might seem like you are going over the same thing over and over with reverse engineering, but I think you are discounting your skills a little bit. Reverse engineering a PCB is quite difficult to do when you cant see the building block topologies involved. I think there is a lot of value in learning how 'the pros' do their thing, and learning more about these building blocks. Please do more of them!

I agree with equipment test videos. I love cheap multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator etc. videos and i am always waiting for them in advance.

I'm glad you followed the results up in a video. Very interseting.

I didn’t even get a notification on the announcement video - just went and found it - I would have participated like last time if I’d known.

You can always re-do the basic design and tutorial type vids, not only because you make better videos now but its the kind of content that's always worth re watching over and over as you need it.

youtube never even showed me the video to the survey. I think survey should have been in the title. You may want to do another one because people might not watch an announcement video right away while a survey usually has a time limit which also gets a boost from the algorithm.

I like that we can follow your gaze to which part of the screen you're looking at, Ghost Dave.

I would pay to see a teardown video where floating Dave head takes us on a first person journey through a device tear down.

@EEvblog - Ideas for next series

RF basics series - e.g. active filter design RF transformers, PCB design tips for highspeed/RF, testing filters, mixers, tips & tricks how to use the scope&RF generators to do tests, impedance matching circuits & theory & measurements, reflections & how to diagnose those, VNA measurements, mixers, multipliers, high power RF, recommendation for black magic RF tricks

ideally a complete serie for not trivial circuit (2 versions - 1. to make horrible things when there are many reflections and it's not stable 2. when everything is perfect and backed by theory and measurements to see the difference)
