I bought runoff filament in bulk. Not sure if I’d do it again

I cheaped out and got some that did that, I've found that increasing the hotend temp from 200 to 230 has really helped minimize the failures.

If you get the their random box set temp to 215 and decrease speed 5% of whatever is normal

Thos purple box failures looked like underextrusion, its hard to tell in the video . But i have definitly found that cheap filament is not worth the trouble.

Transfer tube may have become unseated or there is a gap between the nozzle butt and heartbreak. Its doing failing transfer tube clog things. May not be the filament.

Alternatively, the filament had contamination in it and you need to cold pull.

IIID Max has essentially the same exact pricing but for sealed and boxed filament. Fresh rolls that don't need dehydrated before using.

Hands down the best American made filament w/ CF options. Free shipping too

Looks like they may have mixed with stuff that has a lower pla blend or some of it may be wet. Try drying it first and playing with temps. Remember you said it’s random which makes sense as to why some prints are great and some aren’t.

I refuse to buy their filament now, I've had inconsistencies with sections of their filament being much larger than the 1.75mm they advertise.

My printer requires their own brand filament, about $30 for .75 kg 😢

Why is filament in Germany about twice as expensive as these 12$ spools?
