Miley backed out of her parents driveway pressing on the break, taking one last look at what she was leaving behind. She eyed over the front yard, memories of her past flooding into her mind. She felt warm tears glossing over her eyes. She quickly wiped her tears speaking aloud to herself,

"Just remember Miley, this is what you were meant to do,"

She took a deep breath finally backing out completely, pulling into the street, and driving away to her future.

Nick pulled up to his dorm, looking around at all of the people frantically moving around the property. His eyes suddenly noticed someone standing in front of his car. He rolled his eyes, it was Selena. The one person he wanted to leave behind for good. But of course, she found her way back into his life, by following Nick to college. He watched as she walked around to the drivers side, obnoxiously knocking on his window.

Nick rolled down the window looking at Selena, "What?" he spat.

Selena narrowed her eyes at him, "Just thought you'd wanna see your girlfriend."

He sighed, rolling the window back up, stepping out of his car. "You're not my girlfriend, Selena."

Selena smiled at him warmly, "But, I should be.."

Nick looked into her eyes trying to find the girl he used to love. She was gone, and there was no way he was going back. "I have to go."

He waved her off, and made his way inside and to him dorm room. His hands reached into his pocket trying to find his key to open the door, when suddenly the door swings open.

Taylor looks at Nick with bright eyes, "NICK! My best friend, my brother from another mother. How are you dude?!"

Nick smiled at his best friend, "I'm great, just tired." He walked past Taylor and shut the door behind him, knowing Selena wasn't too far behind.

Taylor watched as he closed the door, and locked it quickly. "Selena?" He asked.

"Ugh, yes." He muttered. "Why can't I find a normal girl, who I can fall completely in love with?"

Miley sat her bags down on the ground looking up at the building in front of her, taking it all in. She was miles away from home, and had nobody here to talk to. Her nerves were going crazy just thinking about her new room mate, trying to make new friends, everything. Her eyes were wandering over everything when suddenly she felt someone standing in front of her. She looked up locking eyes with a short, light haired girl.

Demi smiled at Miley showing her gorgeous smile, and bright eyes.

"Hi! I'm Demi Lovato. I'm new here... well, sort of. My whole family went to this school, so I pretty much know everything about it, but that's besides the point." She took a deep breath, and began talking again. "You just seemed lost, can I help you find your dorm?" She smiled again at Miley.

Miley looked at Demi slightly confused, but a little glad that someone had already talked to her.

She smiled at Demi, "Yeah, actually.." She reached into her back pocket pulling out her dorm information. "I'm in room 34R."

Demi's eyes widened with joy, "Me too! YAY! We're gonna be roomies, come on!" She grabbed one of Miley's bags, and Miley's left hand with her free hand.

Miley quickly picked up the bag Demi had left behind and laughed as Demi pulled her away to her new life.
