Hundreds of Australian Defence Force personnel are spending Christmas away from their families - deployed on operations at home and overseas.

There are 230 troops posted in the Middle East and Solomon Islands and another 200 are deployed round Australia on domestic and border protection operations.

While they cannot be home at this special time, ADF members have recorded Christmas messages for their loved ones.

Imagine, you are sent overseas to serve your country, do your duty which at times means killing people and when you get home, you are charged with some crime or other.

Our thoughts go out to all the army reservists, in for some quick tax free cash, who are involved in the Tour of Duty Australia 🇦🇺 As the regular army members won't cop that shit, not on their watch.

Let's see which side their bread is buttered when the talking baked bean asks them to harm Australians.

Awake please see all around you falling apart, the devil has sworn he will take the world with him when he is cut off from the earth. Wake up is time to wake up.

I find It sad, Come home. These young people look and sound like they need a big hug...they do not look like killers nor hard arsed fighters. come home, they do not trust you (thankxScottyFromFinance) they are with china.

We of course thank them for their serve
Even though they are really only good for fighting bushfires
Best we forget Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan
It was an exercise in futility and essentially waste of time, money, equipment, resources and lives for nothing
