Lyrics Interpretation:

You know that I love you
And I just don't know what I can do
You break my heart in two
I want to take you in my arms when I'm feeling down tonight

We're gonna do it right
Stop making me cry
In my heart, I never let you down
Always by your side

EDIT: Image credit to Future Cowboys. This is the thumbnail from their music video for "PARTY", and while the group is completely unrelated to Stop Making Me Cry, this image is so closely associated with it now that it felt wrong to not credit them for the iconic photo.

I can never understand how people have these clips but not the full song right away.

Ok so the reason why most unknown songs are so good is because we evolved in the internet to think that something overrated means it’s gotta be bad cuz it’s already been known about because you’ve heard it repetitively. but since we don’t even know who even made the song that you’ve probably never heard in your life so it sounds decent to others too so that’s why it sounds so good because you just found out about it, and others here too.

One of the most iconic things about lost wave songs is how some total random images of old internet become their visual identity because of an upload using them as thumbnails🤒

This better not be found in an obscure adult film from the 1990s

this song is 100% 1990s. the piano is a korg m1. im not sure about the drums but the type of drums used in this song was getting popular in the 1990s

This thing played in my local radio in 2014, glad it's been eventually identified

This feels and sounds like something you’d hear in the night from your neighbors house in 1991 and end up liking it👀

This song is very reminiscent of the second wave of eurodance back in 1997 to 2000. It sounds like a song from either Italy or Germany, where this second wave of eurodance became popular

My favorite part about lostwave is when people race to the comments on every single video mentioning the previously lost song in order to try to be the first to say “FOUND! Artist - Title”

why do lost media songs have to always go so hard

This sounds so familiar, nothing that I would choose to listen but would still hear all the time from radio in the 00's.

I think the reason this sounds so familiar is because it sounds really similar to 90s type songs. It sounds similar to rhythm is a dancer in my opinion which is a popular song that may be the reason many people find it nostalgic or familiar.

I don’t care if this sounds like it’s from a whole other timeline to Ulterior motives. But someone needs to stitch both up together! Had a great flow!
