Memphis Grizzlies rookie Jalen Wells suffered a serious injury during Tuesday night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. In the second quarter, Wells attempted a dunk but was fouled from behind by Hornets' K.J. Simpson, causing him to lose balance and fall hard to the floor, hitting his head and arm on the court.

Immediately after the injury, the medical team stretchered him off the court and transported him to the hospital. According to reports, Wells is conscious and has movement in all his limbs, but he has sustained a fractured right wrist and is experiencing pain in his face, jaw, and back.
