Why Russel Westbrook is called WestBRICK

Russell Westbrook wasn’t exactly what Los Angeles Lakers fans were hoping for at the beginning of the season. Their roster hasn’t come together and they have suffered a lot of injuries. Overall, it hasn’t been a strong season for a team that was championship favorites in the preseason. Fans are now calling for Westbrook to get moved at the trade deadline for a number of reasons. His inefficient shooting is the first, as he is shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 30.9 percent from behind the arc. To make matters even worse, he is turning the ball over 4.1 times per game. This isn’t even mentioning his ridiculous $44 million dollar contract that he holds onto. Russ just hasn’t fit with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the floor. LeBron is ball dominant and prefers to be the lead playmaker while Westbrook is a horrific catch and shoot player that only thrives while playing on-ball. Plus, Lakers fans are hoping that the move can reinvigorate a disappointing season so far. At the moment though, it isn’t likely he gets traded.
