How Petr Yan is gonna walk into the Aljo rematch

You know it’s an amazing movie when you root for the antagonist as much as the protagonist

Creed comes out with a squad. Drago, with the only person he has - his father. He has a team too but they're sorta hidden. That symbolism.

Viktor was the REAL WINNER of this fight. His entrance was incredible, but more importantly, he got his dad's love, and that's all he ever wanted!

Man that score is beautiful, didn’t sound evil but more menacing and at the same time it had an undertone of sadness, perfect music for Victor.

This is the first movie in the franchise where we got to see the ‘villain’ entrance from his point of view. It wasn’t a big reveal since this was partially ‘his’ story as well

For this entrance, he deserved to win

Don't get me wrong, I admire Creed, but I gotta give the due respect to Drago. He came outta nothing, trained like hell, raised his ground and fought not only for his country, but his father. Just like Creed, he's a real fighter.

I love that right as he enters Viktor looks nervous and uncertain, almost overwhelmed. Like his father in Las Vegas though for different reasons. Ivan's was a mixture of confusion and disgust because he felt the display was overdone and propagandist. Viktor's is more of fear about being in his father's home country mentally saying "I hope I don't disappoint them or Papa."

I loved how this movie captures the humanity of every character where you don't necessarily like or hate anybody. Viktor Drago was not a bad man. Imagine growing up where your life is boxing because you don't have a choice. The father lives his dream through his son. Imagine all that knowing your own Mom left you and your Dad simply because he lost a fight. And when you want to forgive her, she walks away again during your boxing match when you start to lose but shows up when you win. Viktor just wanted to win like everybody else. And he wanted a Mom that would actually be there for him. He fought with honor.

One of the best things about Stallone's creativity is he didn't simply make drago the typical He gave him one of the best of entrances

Viktor's success brought his father back to Russia. That's why I love this scene so much.

I’m proud to be an American... but boy oh boy that Russian theme music is epic!!!!

Drago’s story was sad yet defiant, like this score. He was a brutal underdog and not a bad person, just unfortunate circumstances. His lonely hunger can be felt with the vocals and his quiet strength with the swell of the orchestra and the drums.

I like how both intros in the final match reflect Adonis and Viktor state of mind coming into the match. Viktor was fired up to fight in front of his home crowd while being sure of winnig given how the first match went. Meanwhile, Adonis came in to this fight brooding and determined to win.

People don’t understand a fighter walking out has to be the best feeling ever. An entire sports arena’s eyes on you and you alone
