*Just a side note as a longtime fan:* My god, it's _incredibly_ endearing how in love Colson is. Honestly, wow. He's never been known to be so public with his relationships, let alone dedicate an entire song with personal conversations for someone. It's just sweet how much he clearly loves Megan and how he's not afraid to show that anymore. It just feels so intentional in a way, that he wrote this song and put it at the tail end of an album that he holds so close to his heart, right behind a song he wrote for his daughter — as if he's trying to make their relationship live forever between the lines of this album, this era. Bless both of them for coming into each other's lives at the same time that they're both going through such difficult phases in life. I feel like she supported and helped him so deeply through his father's recent passing which is one of the hardest things he's been through, and so the love between them is deeper than Colson's ever felt. You can even see it in the way he talks and what he's written on social media these past few months. I'm so happy he's found someone that makes him feel that sentiment of, "Finally." That he's truly, genuinely, unapologetically happy.
