Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting. Because bad agents (posing as immigration specialists) have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Deceiving Indian students! Canada NEVER promised lengthy work permits, jobs and PR.
I repeat, Canada NEVER promised international students lengthy work permits and permanent residency.

True Canadians never told Indian students to risk life savings on a dream.

Canada's own youth are also victims of Indian freelance 'agents' who painted a distorted picture of what Canada will give Indian students. Severe lack of homes & entry jobs now in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS then 90% fighting for PR vs returning home when their SCHOOLING ends! Asking for asylum too, which rarely leads to PR.

And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students.

Indians themselves say their politicians and leaders are usually corrupt. Why should Canada pay for what Indians do to Indians?!!?? And why should any of their bad practices be allowed to migrate to Canada?!!?? Canada is a country that wishes to remain in the top 10 for Transparency. India ranks 62nd.

As a Punjabi Canadian born and raised here, I am so embarrassed by these international students they lie about coming here to study when all they want is PR most of them didn’t even pass their English test and hence can’t speak English. They make a mockery of themselves in Toronto in Brampton Surrey White rock. They lie about how many hours they work and they want to be expected to pass even though they don’t deserve to be passed. They need to go home the more they protest. The people are getting angry. Go home and try to apply for PR the right way you came to study study and go home stop cheating stop cheating the system and give the jobs back to our students whose parents spent over 50 years putting in taxes.
