Asha Elijah (aka Asha & Asher Quinn) sings his composition 'Rainy day' from the album "Life is Change." CD/download soon.

This is a song from personal experience about a love gone wrong, as if the force that brought us together was also the force that pulled us apart... bafflingly & bewilderingly, in both cases.

From that point-of-view it's a twin-flame song, and the purpose of the twin-flame phenomenon (one soul in two bodies) is to unite you both in God, not with each other.

Human beings can have replicated souls, according to Rudolf Steiner. For example, Francis of Assisi had the soul (not the physicality) of Jesus of Nazareth. So the astral body of Jesus appeared again in Francis of Assisi... AND in others!

Thus the souls of the higher avatars, especially, can be replicated in other incarnations, not just personally, but collectively.

The soul of Jesus of Nazareth can occur in a soul GROUP!

My vision is not yet clear enough to know for sure, but I sense that my twin-flame and I share the soul of John the Baptist, perhaps in a soul group. Perhaps we are replicants!

This is not necessarily too grand a suggestion; higher souls can be replicated not just in other higher beings, but in ordinary, 'local' mortal beings.

The time is coming in the far-distant future when the whole of humanity itself will share the soul of Jesus of Nazareth. The "I AM" of Jesus is already in the world's ether (as in "I AM the way, the truth & the life"), and has been since the time of the crucifixion.

Now, 2,000 years later, his "I AM" is immanent for humanity in the world's ether (ether = flow or animation). This means that more and more individuals can access the higher Christ consciousness in their own innate conscience, or morality.

The twin-flame brings you to this higher consciousness first by attraction, and then by withdrawal... first by love, and then by loss; first by connection, and then by sacrifice.

The love and loss states are BOTH teachers... instrumental in helping the individual bust through 'maya' (the world of egoic illusion).

The love that at first might have been filial; erotic; dependent or possessive, can become selfless through loss (if you play it right)... love without attachment or agenda; unconditional love, also known as 'Agape' (from the Greek). Genuine love without wanting or needing anything back.

This song also references the prayer of Ireland's St. Patrick:

Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
I arise today

And also Antoine de St. Exupéry's "The Little Prince" (itself a Christ allegory):

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

Seeing with the heart means being able to see God in all things, and thus to achieve a feeling unity with God... as opposed to conventional mechanistic thinking (science) which sees only the APPARENT, not the REAL; the surface not the substance, and duality (subject & object) not unity.

The twin-flame experience sets an individual out upon this path of unity; essentially a Holy Grail path. The Grail is unity with God in the heart; an inner discovery, not an external one.

Ultimately, the substance that one falls in love with in the other, is NOT the physicality or the personality... though it may seem so at first... but the mystery of the divine in the other; the immortal soul, which is then a mirror for your own immortal soul.

At the end of the song I also reference some of the miracles referred to in the Gospel of John; the healing of the blind man, the lame man, the raising of Lazarus and of the daughter of Jain... all symbolic of what needs healing in us.

My twin-flame lives somewhere in a village in northern Hungary. I live in Budapest, 20 minutes away. We had a deep connection for 7 years and 7 days, but have now been estranged for longer.

We see each other occasionally, but whatever spell united us now estranges us. You have to be careful with spells!

One recent rainy day when I had other business in this village, I was thinking about all of this when the song came to me. So I call it 'Rainy day.'

And then last weekend, driving back from a sacred site in the wild, February rain, I got the impulse to film my approach to a strange, volcanic mountain, which dominates the scenery at the western end of Lake Balaton, Hungary's secret treasure.

The mountain rose out of the mist, and as it turns out I filmed for almost exactly the length of this song, give or take 5 seconds!

I didn't even connect the song with the film until they were both on my laptop desk-top!

But they seem made for each other!
