She was really air headed and her unwillingness to attend long podcasts was the last straw for many undecided voters.

This discussion was clear, engaging and high production quality! I look forward to a time when the common viewer prefers this kind of analysis over the trash that gets attention today.

29:00 Onkar on 🔥! This should be a short clip

I am not sure I can agree with some of this analysis but I fully agree with Onkar's conclusion about the results of this election, They were both horrendous candidates. Great point on Huckabee emboldening the worse of Israeli policy. Very astute, I had not thought of that.
! believe America deserves better than this. Education is key and if the Trump administration abolishes the education department perhaps amongst other things the states can push to reintroduce a proper American history and civics course focused on political and civics philosophy. Jonathon Hoenig's book on Americanism should accompany any history textbook or they should be the first chapters in any history textbook. In the mean time we should work towards building an uncompromising third political party like the Capitalist Party created by MP. Perhaps to these new students of history these objectivist ideas will not seem so alien.

And I’m NOT affiliated with any part and not registered as an independent. I decide based on the campaigns. Here- there was no campaign. Just stupid ppl who don’t appreciate what democracy is. They’ve either never learned about what it means or have forgotten. They are bored as hell in this country.

Did I miss something in the first 30 minutes?

It seems like the panel didn't say a lot about Harris evil economic policy. They almost said nothing on that and try to find ways she could communicate better.

Let us hear a real detailed discussion of the policies of Trump rather than ad homonym attacks. How about substance?

This channel is a weird dichotomy - On the one hand, it releases snippits of Ayn Rand's speeches which are highly intelligent and insightful, but then on the other end of the spectrum, you have videos like this, that lacks any substance.

Trump is "abysmally evil"? What? Onkar is one step removed from also calling Trump a Hitler.

I haven't really seen an Objectivist talk for going on 20yrs. Before then I was fully engaged for over a decade. Like a lot of people I drifted away, holding many of the ideas close, while wondering about others and their validity.
After the November's election I wanted to see if my analysis was in-line with ARI's and whether I could also gain some insightful comments. I was most engaged during Onkar's analysis but only some of Elan's. Unfortunately Ben's remarks brought the whole level of the conversation down. On the whole I think that for such a pivotal moment in US history it made me sad for ARI (I was an early supporter).
Onkar noted that Trump wouldn't have gotten the support he did 30 or 40 yrs ago "and that tells us something bad about the country....[??!!]" - what is this "bad something" ?, who knows?, maybe not even Onkar knows; but that is exactly what they should have been discussing. Leonard Peikoff would have been comparing the state USA is in now to Weimar Germany, provided countless philosophic examples, and shown us we were headed.
I will watch more ARI commentarys on the disaster that is the Israel war and also on ARI's COVID analysis - but I'm not hopeful.
I'm afraid for humanity. It seems we have an inherent flaw. We can't stop killing each other and we still run willingly to fascism and mysticism of all kinds even with fresh examples of the carnage they've created.

You can't persuade people to vote for you by insulting them

All they needed was to have Kamala on the panel and you would have watched the biggest word salad for an hour and 13 minutes. These 3 are ment to be the flag bearers of AR’s Objectivity, & this was 95% subjectivity. Collectivism at its finest. Pro tip - stick to what you’re good at, and that is, discussing AR and her philosophy.

Thank you for the perspective that this discussion gave to me.

Onkar _actually_ said, "Imagine someone voting and thinking, 'I don't know, I like Harris a little more, but if she wins hers a real possibly of violence...'" Seriously? Based on what, Jan 06 when the "insurrectionists" picked up their signs and anti-aircraft guns and left the Capitol for dinner and Happy Hour? AYFSM? Anyway, I stopped listening at this point - ain't nobody got time for hysterics.

Glad to see the discussion of political violence around the 40 minute mark. The fact that a large part of the American people are OK voting for someone like Trump, who implicitly threatens political violence constantly, and actually tried to illegally stay in power, is the most depressing part of this election.

Please explain to me what happened on January 6th again? I watched very closely and have my own opinion of the day, but then again I'm not vilifying the victims.

Why Objectovist don't bring out Trump's racism, floors me. The racist statements he made about Mexicans are the exact same statements I heard about blacks growing up. Objectovist need to get there house in order.

Excellent video as usual! One thing I would disagree with is that “Trump should have been impeached” because impeachment is strictly for sitting Presidents, and impeachment was launched after Trump was no longer President.
