It's unrealistic to expect rival fans in a tribal environment to treat incidents like this objectively. Also as Man City's manipulation of the financial regulations has played a significant role in their domination of the league, it's even more unlikely that their supporters would be open to a reasonable and rational debate about the fairness of the rules and how they are interpreted.

The thing I havnt heard anyone notice is the fact that Bernardo Silva was still on the ground a good 15 seconds after Trossard kicked the ball away, thus when the freekick was eventually taken from Man City, every Arsenal player would have been back in their defensive positions ready for the Man City freekick.

The circumstances you describe with doku are completely different.
Rice was purposely trying to delay a quick restart by standing in front of the free kick and walking at a snails pace and then taps the ball.
Trossard kicked the ball high in the air on purpose. Any fan can see this but you arsenal fans and arteta are trying to claim he did nothing wrong. If he didn’t process the whistle why did he not pass the ball and instead hoofed it high on purpose. Its a joke that you lot are still whinging about the correct decision

End this stupid debate: The foul before kicking the ball away was a yellow anyway. Trossard should never have run into Bernardo and barge him in the back, ESPECIALLY because he was already on a yellow. Idiotic behaviour.
