When I press Y, the screen freezes. Never get the black screen with things being updated...I am 100% sure this old PC has the dq77mk mobo. Can't figure it out and I'm scared to mess with it any more.

Thanks for your effort.I did the same as you, with the exact same mobo, but I get the message ''process failed'' after a few seconds.I' m stuck with the old bios.(I tried with various usb ports, different usb sticks but nothing.Always the same problem.)
