Thank you. Other than the basics my doctor told me when he ordered the test the lab gave me zero directions other than to mark the start and end date and time. Good luck to everyone who needs to take this test. Hopefully, the test will diagnose the health issues we are experiencing.

So frustrating to have to watch a few videos to figure out how to do this 😑 I was given no instructions at all, from the lab, no “hat” to collect, zero instructions, and absolutely no labels on either of the bottles.

I have to do the 24 hr urine test and they just gave me the container not the commode. Good luck to those that have to do this test. The hardest part for me is that I can not have caffeine😕 3 days prior to the test!

For men Do not urinate directly into container collector urine in separate container the collection jug contains a preservative that is caustic and cause burns and skin irritation

Hello the video is incorrect for collection. For men do not have patient urine directly into container as preservative HCL could be in container and cause injury to patient. Also collection end time should not exceed the start time ex. 7:00am of the 4th and end time was 7:05am 5th incorrect ex ... 7:00am 4th and 6:58am 5th Correct.

Okay I like to know how you store in refrigerator not with food.. the refrigerator is meant to have food in it are we supposed to take all the food out?

The pediatrician gave us a jug filled with acid, but when we needed to repeat the test the endo gave us an empty jar. Will the results differ, if there is no acid in the jug this time? Or, will the endo's team add the acid when they receive it?
