Agree about sound on small roku. Works great, but ended up setting it up in my small RV, which was a perfect fit. I’ll be getting the larger one for my house. Great review!

I just got the Roku subwoofer and I can say, that Roku is putting out some very good equipment. The bass is all there, but tight and punchy when required. I was very surprised, considering it's only a 10 inch downfiring driver. I recommend putting it on a solid surface for optimal punch.

Good video, I guess I bought the wrong one (lol), but it's for a little TV in a small room. I'll get the bigger one for another TV. I have the back speakers and subwoofer. It sounds really good all together. Thanks for the tip.

I have the streambar and 2 wireless speakers up front. Thinking of swapping our the streambar for the pro. The wireless speakers sound great imo.

Nice to know that the Streambar Pro comes with a remote that has headphone capability - even if it's not great, it's a nice option when others in the house are sleeping.

I think it has a Bluetooth option too, but haven't investigated that yet.

The modular approach is what I love the most. But they need to offer Dolby Atmos option and upgrade the option for dual subwoofers.

This is really late, mainly because I just ordered the Pro for a basement TV and I wanted to know the main difference after ordering and I think I can answer the question for what the standard Streambar is for. I have two of the Polk Audio MagniFi Minis that are essentially the exact same size as the Streambar and they are great.

They have virtual surround sound and they are legit some of the best speakers I've ever heard for a TV. The difference though is that the Polk Audio system comes with the sub in the box. I think the Streambar was trying to compete against the MagniFi Mini, however the Roku doesn't come with the sub and at the time if they would have included the sub it would have been just as expensive as the Polk Audio (if not more because I think I got the MagniFi Minis for around $250 each) and I don't know if Roku was ready to try that at the time.

Excellent, just what I was looking for!!! I was hesistant about the Pro due to its size, which covers my entire stand (the TV is mounted above, things like DVD player and cable box below, and I wonder what the best way to mount that behemoth is. It has wall mounts (which I didn't hear mentioned), but I wonder if it can attach to the bottom of the TV itself. Also, I thought that I read somewhere that the smaller one has to be connected to the HDMI ARC port on your TV, if it has one, while the larger one does not. If true, this is another consideration for folks. "Considerations" would be a great way to wrap up this video. Pro: better sound, headphone jack on remote for private listening, two shortcut buttons on remote, as I recall its remote also has voice commands (while the smaller one does not), but takes up more space. Regular: smaller size, voice remote, but average sound, no headphone jack, no shortcut button.

Great informative video, thank you. One question, is there a dialogue mode available on either of those Roku sound bars? Nowadays It is very difficult to decipher the spoken word, which is one reason I have bought the Bose soundbar with much clearer spoken word When you press their dialogue button on remote. ( imo They overdo the background music nowadays and with sync sound the speech is just not very clear, It’s a struggle to catch every word)

I have a new roku TV and I have the subwoofer and then 2 of the surround sound speakers. I was thinking about getting the sound bar however it says it's a smart sound bar. My TV already has roku built into it. Does it make sense to get the sound bar? I definitely want sound coming from the middle and because I have the surround sounds speakers hooked up it does not come out of the tv.. if i buy the soundbar am I gonna have to redo the whole Roku setup or will I just be able to install the soundbar to the TV without having to hook up all the chords the same way I? Bluetooth the other. Speakers? They are all roku surround sound speakers by the same company

Volume? Will the larger pro model hold up to higher volume than the smaller one? My smaller roku speakers are damaged from louder playing? I just need more volume, will the pro provide that?

Smaller pro unit is geared for voice. The longer unit will have more tonal range especially for lower tone bass tones
