How to Dress A Candle Hoodoo Style

This quick little video talks about the three ways to annoy the candle with oil and "dress" it. I've also included a very brief little love spell as bonus material!

I like the way you bless and cross the candle, the herbs and pray over them as you dress and prepare for the candle spell.

i learned how to dress my candles by my psychic friend. Other methods i use are by pure intention. i feel however you prep your candle will work as long as its cleansed and your intent is strong.

A lot of people say to anoint upward to bring in to you and downwards to get rid of something. I guess people have to find what works for them.

I twist clockwise when I want to work in or screw in my thoughts n wants deep into the mind of the target. twist counter clockwise to remove it from the mind of the target.

I'd be interested in how you dispose of your workings. Not just on the plates, but the jars you make as well! I dress my candles in the same way! I also use symbols/sigils/runes to carve into mine. Thanks for sharing!

I usually will anoint or inscribe from the tip to the base if I'm drawing something in, and from the base to the tip to banish. I've sort of imagined it as erasing as the candle burns when I inscribe from the base to the tip. (Does that make sense? I'm uncaffeinated.)
